This video I just snatched off the tweetsteam like a Pooh Stick encapsulates a couple of things I’ve been thinking about of late. This dude had his guitar damaged in handling on United. Shame. These things happen though [I've never had the nerve to take a guitar on a flight], and, ultimately, I think he would have been cool with it if a United Representative had accepted blame [they appear to have accepted that it happened, but passed the buck endlessly around the system.] This is what really, r

(tags: life career ) Creating Passionate Users: It’s not too late to be a genius It’s never too late to be creative. It’s never too late to make a difference.

The initial[1] idea was thought provoking: construct a covering using 400 red umbrellas (outside of their intended purpose) suspended over the new pedestrian mall in the city of Talca to create a visual impression of the inhabitants of a city in which it is uncommon to see daring displays in public spaces. This lack of innovation seems to come in part, from others creating similar urban displays based only on previously proved ideas as well as the minute demand for this type of “product” by t

Vancouver is losing it’s culture! While the creativity and talent of new artists and musicians is on a steady increase, the outlets these arts need in order to reach an audience is rapidly decreasing. There has been a sweep of smaller venues closing and a sense that those who run this city are trying to contain any sort of nightlife to “The Entertainment District” – a small patch of the downtown hub, located primarily on Granville Street, that houses a small collection of generic dance clubs and
