Ubisoft Opening Toronto Based Studio, Promises To Create 800 Jobs Over Next Decade

Publisher Ubisoft today announced plans to expand its internal development force with the creation of a fourth studio in Canada, this time based in the Toronto, Ontario area. With operations scheduled to kick off in late 2009, Ubi expects the move to generate 800 jobs over the next decade. In a pledge towards support of the newly created studio, the government of Ontario is investing a generous $263 million in Canadian dollars.
