Two years ago, the brain trust at PineStraw magazine came up with the idea of honoring folks who make a difference in the Sandhills arts scene by staging the first Piney Awards, what we hoped might pass as our local version of the Academy Awards.
Guests at the 23rd annual Zoofari, Knoxville Zoo’s largest fundraiser, had a taste of the Orient.
