Enlightened politics is integral politics, and integral politics synthesizes and harmonizes the partial truths to be found in the opinions of all sides to an issue. At the core of an enlightened politics is the vision of an enlightened society, the cultivation of world citizenship and even the ideal of cosmic citizenship. Peace and justice will reign when the majority of citizens have overcome egocentrism on the way to achieving a God-centered or world-centric outlook on political and social life.
