We acknowledge that Ken Wilber nailed this one, but other great minds fall under this rubric: many of the new scientists of consciousness, the neo-shamans, the transpersonal psychologists committed to a genuine holistic psychological theory and therapeutic practice. As Ken puts it: "For an integral psychology, we should attempt to honor the entire spectrum of consciousness, matter to mind to soul to spirit, by whatever names, in whatever guises, in however many levels modern research can confirm." And this is just the first step in the integral inquiry into the nature of the mind and psyche, one which is always informed by unity within diversity.
