money monksWhen you think of meditation, most likely the first thought you have is some monk sitting in a lonley cave on top of a mountain contiplating the big questions on life and death and why we are even here.

I doubt you think of CEOs, Financial Analyst and the sort actually meditating.

But here’s the thing, they do!

And all of them agree, meditation helped them not only create their dreams and wealth, but continues to help them manage it and grow it even further.

Don’t believe me? Check out this very short list of big wigs that admit to meditating everyday…

Hedge fund manager Ray Dalio
Salesforce.com’s Marc Benioff
Panda Express Founder Andrew Cherng
Former Monsanto CEO Bob Shapiro
Def Jam Founder Russell Simmons
Sammy Lakhany Business Advisor
Oprah Winfrey
Legal Sea Foods CEO Roger Berkowitz
Green Mountain Coffee Roaster Founder Robert Stiller
Ramani Ayer, former Chairman and CEO of The Hartford Financial Services Group
Steve Rubin, former CEO and chairman of United Fuels International

See, meditation is one of those tools that help you center your mind, quiet it down so that you can concentrate, “hear” your subconcious and opens the dorr to intuition.

In the day and age of constant bombardment of information and noise, it’s easy to get lost. Loose focus. Ignore your inner self and all of the knowledge it can share with you.

Meditation can help calm you enough to make logical decisions based on all of the information that has been gathered about perhaps a big business deal, or simply a small start up. Then rationally decide whether it makes good business sense on a completely logical point of view and not based on just emotions.

And getting started with mediation is easy. And it can be done almost anywhere.

Just get started with 5 minutes a day can really help quiet your mind and allow you to be in the now.

You can begin with a very simple beginner exercise like counting your breathe up to 4, then start over.

Just focus on your breathing. And count the breathes.

One, two, three and four, then start from one again.

Work your way up to 5 minutes, then 10.

Just this simple exercise can help you find the wealth you are looking for.

Just look at the people I mentioned in the beginning of this article.
